The Data Explorer
This tool will allow users to search for data. As well as a search function, there are various filters to focus in on data by theme; geography and publisher. The Data Explorer lists the available themes, indicators and time periods. Users can inspect the metadata for selected data, view the data in tabular form or on a map. Maps can be printed in hard-copy and data can be downloaded as CSV file(s) and imported into Excel for analysis.
The Custom Area Reporter
This tool will allow users to produce customised reports for selected geographies e.g. Lower-layer Super Output Areas (LSOAs) or Wards. The data in the reports by the data themes on the Croydon Observatory will show aggregated figures for the selected area as well as for Croydon and for England as long as the data is available at the level of geography for each indicator.
