Croydon's Long-Term Vision

We asked representatives from all major public, private and community organisations and more than 20,000 local people to "Imagine Croydon" in 2040. The responses were creative, ambitious and inspiring and together present a compelling picture of the type of place we want Croydon to be - a city, that builds on its strengths yet is a new and dynamic and ready to meet the challenges of the future. 'We are Croydon - this is our vision' sets out the quality and scope of change that is sought over the coming years and is now the point of reference for all other strategies and plans in the borough. There is now a real sense of commitment and energy across all local agencies to act together to help make Croydon a more successful and enterprising place - a place that offers opportunity and where everyone can feel they belong and which provides a better place in which to live and work. |
