Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)
The Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 requires NHS primary care trusts and local authorities to produce a joint strategic needs assessment (JSNA). Joint strategic needs assessment identifies 'the big picture' in terms of health and wellbeing needs and inequalities of a local population and informs future service planning taking into account evidence of effectiveness.
If you would like to comment on the 2010/11 JSNA or previous years' chapters please email Fiona Assaly or Anne Blythe, healthy croydon support unit - fiona.assaly@croydon.gov.uk or anne.blythe@croydon.gov.uk.
