Croydon's Local Strategic Partnership Senior Managers' Conference

Croydon has a long established and successful Local Strategic Partnership which has a strong national reputation.

This was the first event of its kind in Croydon bringing together the most senior mangers from key partner organisations.  The focus of the day was on partnership working in Croydon, and exploring the importance of collaboration and leadership both collective and individual in the context of an ambitious improvement agenda for Croydon.
 
Helen Bailey from HM Treasury was the keynote speaker who gave an insight into Total Place and Whitehall expectations of Total Place pilots area such as Croydon.  Also covered were the challenges arising from the recession and the likely impact on future public spending and the key role of Local Strategic Partnerships over the next 5 years.
